The close up world is just amazing.  Many of the most beautiful and amazing things in nature exist in a world which most people may never see.  With some patience, an enquiring eye, and a macro lens on my camera, I have recorded so many breathtaking sights to share with you.  Instigated by a love of fly fishing, the desire to learn about insects and the world of entomology led me on a journey into the insect world.  I may never learn all their scientific names, but that isn't important to me.  What I  want to do is search out amazing creatures and their environment, and present them in a way that will make the viewer stop and wonder why they have never seen a sight like that before.  The creation of my images have been a personal challenge, but many have found their way into published work to illustrate articles on fly fishing.
